The Jodi Lou Lung Cancer Fund has been established for the purpose of supporting lung cancer clinical trials at the UW Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Center.  It is Jodi's wish to help avoid even one more parent having to say goodbye to their child.  It is hard to believe that by even making the right choices in life, as Jodi did, you can still be dealt an unfair hand.  Lung cancer is NOT just a smokers disease and that stigma has to change.  There are many innocent people that are afflicted with the disease and there needs to be more money directed to lung cancer research.
